Made in china

Truckin’ - got my chips cashed in
Keep Truckin - like the doodah man
Together - more or less in line
Just keep Truckin on

Yeah…So have you ever gone on a road trip, cruising down the highway staring at one truck after another? Just as one truck goes by and the next one appears and an obvious thought emerges—just what in the world are all of these trucks hauling? Of course anyone would know that trucks haul goods, but where do all these goods come from? Duh, all the goods come from China. It is kind a getting creepy to know that practically everything we buy in America is made in China. Children in this country must think that China is a country that is just covered with enormous warehouses and factories. I mean I bet kids in the U.S. think that the Great Wall of China is one of the seven largest assembly lines in the world instead of one of the seven wonders of the world. Last summer I was working in retail and found that roughly ninety percent of the goods that I came across were made in china. Not only were ninety percent of the goods made in china, but these goods were shipped to Cali, hauled to Las Vegas warehouses, and finally hauled across the nation. Sometimes, I’m even fooled to believe that China is just one gigantic warehouse and nothing more. But that just can’t be true. I would like to take a road trip across China and get a closer look at where the goods I purchase come from. Of course I would have drive the most decked out PeterBilt big rig that the United States has got to offer and just keep trucking on…
